CHERRYHILL CANINE LLC
Empowering people, helping dogs.
MEET THE TRAINER
My name is Megan and I was born and raised in Indiana County, Pennsylvania where I currently reside with my husband and our three dogs. I have been an animal lover my entire life. In high school I raised and showed pigs at my county fair. I attended Penn State for Agribusiness Management and minored in Animal Science. In college I added cattle to my repertoire of animal experience. I also continued to work in the pet industry at a pet store and a boarding facility.
After college, I started fostering shelter dogs, mostly bully breeds from Atlanta, GA. After a couple transports and facilitating many adoptions I took a more serious interest in animal behavior. I enrolled in the Animal Behavior College and became a certified dog trainer. Through this experience I worked with my mentor and with shelter dogs to learn about hands on techniques for training dogs.
I started Cherryhill Canine, LLC in November 2020 in hopes of bringing my animal experience to pet parents in need. My mission for the business is to help dogs in shelters and prevent them from ending up there in the first place. I hope to achieve this by empowering pet parents with the skills and knowledge they need to suceed.
